If they make the BMP $15 in the online store that might not be a bad price but the whole point of having a limited time period is to make it special. That's why I can't get a Tengu mask, or some people can't get a pumpkin crown. They missed it, oh well. Why can't ANET make special things that are limited? Why?

You got a few good points there for sure. Limited is limited for that very reason. However maybe at a later date for people who really want it?

Why? There is no actual reason except "cuz they want it". I suppose they could sell it an then they would have a monetary reason to, but it kills the Limited nature of it and we're back to square one.

You had the option..buy in a store and get GWEN and a box...or buy in game and get BMP now you say it not fair because BMP has nice stuff. That is stupid. It is like saying I bought Enron stock and could have bought Wal-Mart...Enron went out of business and Wal-Mart didn't so I should be handed Wal-Mart stock now at the price I could have paid for it before.

If anything they should make the rewards non-repeatable and the items tradeable then those of us who went along with the promotion could make some plat out of it and if others really want the item they can go farm and buy it from us.

Wow. Just wow you people are stupid. If you wanted the stupid thing all you had to do was buy GW:EN in the ONLINE STORE. It is limited so it should not be even posted in any store. All you had to do was go to a bank put some $ on a prepaid credit card and then you are done or just borrow your parents or something as I said before it is your own fault if you don't have it.

What they could have done is take into account all our attempts to buy GWEN from the online store that got cancelled because of their stupid rules (ip not from cc issued county = no go, ip country = cc country != account country = no go, you basically can't buy when you're traveling)

Heck you didn't even HAVE to buy EotN; I bought mine in a store and just instead bought a bunch of skills and that's how I got mine.

Here's a thought - there are gift cards you can put money on and use just like a Mastercard or Visa. That's a really easy way to buy stuff online, you just go to your local store that carries them, get one, put money on it at the store (in cash or from debit card), and then you go order whatever it is you want. Plus it's great for paranoid people who don't like to use their credit cards online because there's no direct link to anyone's account or bank.

I'm kinda ticked now that I didn't think of this sooner; I just found out about these when my husband picked one up as a gift for someone, and I thought "those are darned cool." I know this doesn't help anyone who's missed this last promotion, but it may help others going forward as well as give people a way to buy slots and skill packs and stuff now.

This is an answer to those who say they spent "extra" money to get the mission pack.

I spent 36€ in the online shop for each account, more than the required amount, doubled because of 2 accounts, and now I can't access some new content available in game, even if I declare myself ready to spend some MORE money to further finance this company.

That's the fairness of this company towards their customers.
I'm just speechless, and it's better I stop speaking ...

After making my mom pay for laods of online games (Anarchy online, WoW etc) she has deicded only to buy me physical things over the net (e.g. games, hardware, cloths) therefore she refused to buy eotn online. I went to the store and got the pre-release pack the day it ame out and got eotn the day it ame out so why must I miss out becuase there are rules in my house? I dont think it should cost a lot, maybe a bit more than the bonus pack would satisfy me. But i deffinatley think this should be sold seperatley.

ok this thread is growing at a fast pace. I read the first couple pages and had to stop because i am on my lunch hour and short on time. So far i am seeing allot of crying on both sides of the fence. everyone has a opinion andyou know the saying. But i am going to have to say i /sign on this idea. they should make it so everyone can get it. Not everyone can use the online store. I used it once and they charges me twice for one purchase. I did get a refund for one but it took an act of congress to do it. and i guess it just left a bad tast in my mouth so i dont use it when i can get something local. I do not have the bonus pac and i have to say i wish i did. I do have all thre games and the expansion pac. I also have a few extra char slots. So i have spent the money with them same as everyone else. Infact double because i also have a full set that my son uses but that is beside the point. I am being punished because i got the game local and not online. That does not set well with me. I have done nothing wrong. I support the game and an avid player yet i am being excluded. If it support the online store is looking for i would be willing to pay a fee to get it. I am not asking for a freebe just a chance to get to play like everyone else.
